Lutheran Women's Missionary League
Our LWML meetings are a wonderful way to get to know the women of Zion!
At our meetings, we have a chance to enjoy fellowship, as well as have a program. The programs range from a guest speaker to a Bible study and even field trips to places that are benefiting our community.
Our upcoming events for 2025 include:
- March 5-Hosting Ash Wednesday dinner
- March 15-Spring Fling Luncheon (Bible study, Lunch and a guided program to create a painting)
- March 29-Western Zone Spring Event (a gathering of the LWML groups in our zone)
- held at Pilgrim Lutheran
- May 10- Tour of Love, Inc. and out to lunch
- Oct.- We host the Western Zone Fall Event
- Dec. 6-Christmas Brunch
The money we raise through the Christmas Bazaar, bake sales, and Mite collections go to support local, national and international mission outreach programs.
L.W.M.L. Pledge
In fervent gratitude for the Savior’s dying love and His blood brought gift of redemption, we dedicate ourselves to Him with all that we are and have; and in obedience to His call for workers in the harvest fields, we pledge Him our willing service, wherever and whenever He hath need of us. We consecrate to our Savior Our hands to work for Him, Our feet to go on His errands, Our voice to sing His praises, Our lips to proclaim His redeeming love, Our silver and our gold to extend His kingdom, Our will to do His will, And every power of our life to the great task of bringing the lost and the erring into eternal fellowship with Him.
